Chicken Shoot Gold won't work. Need help?

I just purchased Chicken Shoot Gold. I installed the game & when I click the icon to start the game I get an error message. It says:

CHICKEN SHOOT 2 - I/O

>>> Open Pak Error <<<

File: language.pak

I have a Dell XPS PC built for gaming. I have Direct X version 9c.

Any idea what the problem is & how I can fix it?

There is a patch on the website that you can download to fix the open error. i had the same problem and now im trying to get a serial number because it wasnt with my game. the site is topware.com

I tried to get that patch. I'm told the page cannot be displayed or that I need a user name & password. I've emailed the company at support@topware.com, just like it says to on the game case, and they won't answer. All I get back is a response from yahoo saying topware blocked my email. A lot of help they are. There's no number to call, unless you want to call the German number on the Chicken Shoot website. I emailed from work and they haven't answered me back either! I guess that's money down the drain. I don't think Best Buy takes games back once they're opened.
