Thread: Two Worlds II version 1.01 (Hotfix) Released

    Changelog:

    -fixed crash in singleplayer campaign during streaming of levels (CD icon) or during teleportation.
    -fixed one crash in multiplayer.
    -fixed quality of rendering ogg videos (when HD video option is off)
    -if game crashes while playing wmv videos then it is switched to ogg mode and next time ogg will be played.
    -fixed missing in shops magic cards: Air Life and Air Lightning.
    -fixed type of potion ingredients generated in village shops.
    -fixed endless invisibility spell error.
    -fixed wrong direction of camera in sniper mode in reversed vertical view.
    -fixed problem with changing bid by +/- keys in dice minigame on laptop keyboards.
    -fixed displaying wrong number of equipment parts in "destroy equipment" message box
    -added missing "Check for updates" option to settings.
    -some player reported long time of making savegames in full screen. It was possible caused by taking screen shot. Save screen shots can be turned off by console command: game.MakeSaveScreenShot 0 - it should be added to autosaveGame3.con file in Parameters subdirectory of save game.
    -one change was made which could fix problem with saving multiplayer characters / village. Now if sending data to server fails then game make two more attempts to send

    Someone has already reported that their multiplayer account is still not saving properly.

    Sure hope they'll anounce one soon for Xbox 360. Especially for the brightness.

    Village mode still does not save. 30 minutes spent there and about 25k. As soon as you log out of the game (correctly too, not just alt+F4) it resets

    i found this out too. except i saved up 40k to spend since the first time i made a village (pre-patch) it deleted it. and i tried it (post-patch) same result >.< so much $$$ wasted...

    Starting to think that people who are having server issues are playing on overloaded lobbys

    there are 186/50 on 1 lobby, playing/waiting which makes the server harder to record progress and stats.
    If players would go to another emptyier one then it might help a bit.

    They either should try to fix this somehow Or realitypump should *force* the lobbys to be max 50 people (50/50) and not 126/50 if the lobby overload whats making this.

    I found that you need 10,000 auras in your pocket to enter village mode or you get that message. The game doesn't actually take the 10k off you after the first time though. This is a seperate issue to the villages not saving. So make sure you have 10k on you and then re-enter, you might find your village is still there.

    If you want to test if your village is saved. Make a village, then when you go in speak to the tutorial guy but don't make any building. Press f8, then at the bottom "transfer auras" then take all your 10,000 out of the village. Now exit the village, exit the game, restart and go back into village mode. If you are at stage 1 in the tutorial (build a ranch) then the village saved ok. If the tutorial restarts from the beginning then it isn't saving. (take out your 10,000 again and leave). This way you can test without spending 10k each time. (Make sure you are in net profit and empty the village bank each time you leave in case your village disappears ofc)

    Unfortunately I don't think this is the problem as I have tested it on empty lobbys and it still has the same problem with not saving.

    This same thing is happening to me. Is it because we imported the game to America possibly?

    I wouldn't think that, I am from USA and I have a full town going, but I hardly ever play on the first server. I even mostly avoid servers that start to hit above 20.

    I am also from the USA and I started my village in one of the heavily populated servers and I play it in both populated and non-populated servers-doesn't make a difference it always saves for me

    We're still far away from DX11 dude We're gonna have to wait for some moths before we get that

    Ya, dx11, i think we all know by now that were the public beta testers before this game is released world wide with all the bells and whistles. Cant wait my two 580s runs this pretty good with nvidia surround.

    You should be able to install it without any issues to your save-game. But if you want to wait for people to report back how things are working, you can do that too.

    I installed on the Gamersgate English version. Seems savegame compatible - haven't hit any other problems doing a couple of quests since then.

    Good to know thx, but I'm gonna keep the game aside until the big patch comes out.

    Well, now i can at least continue game, no more crashing in quest zones it seems, yay!)

    Do we even need DX11 to enjoy this game? I believe the game engine is gorgeous as is.

    Maybe not, but why not enjoy it with DX11 when the game can support it?
    At least my graphic card can be put to good use with DX11 for a change.
