Multiplayer FAQ Version 1.2 (updated: 01.03.2011)

1. Gameplay/General

a. What is the best way to level up?

In short form, Turn in quests as often as possible and defeat each of the varieties and levels of monsters for experience bonuses.

b. Right, but what is the optimal way to earn Exp.?

Join a group of 7 other players in "Marshlands" and grind through Zombies excessively, you can also quickly earn skill-points this way.

c. How can I earn the most money in Village Mode?

Trial and error, but you can search "Village Mode" on this forum and find a many strategies from others.

d. Where are the chests in VM located?

e. How do I play as a Mage in multiplayer?

I'd recommend testing/playing with a mage in singleplayer, using cheats if needed for testing more complex mana-heavy spells, for a hands-on approach. As for input, just searching "Two Worlds 2 Mage Guide" or similar will bring up many testimonials.

f. How does experience work in groups?

Each player receives around 5% more experience per player (7 other players is about 35% more than when solo) for every defeated monster in group games (VM and AM). The amount of Experience received for each monster defeated is also level dependent, for example in "The Way to Vokar" a solo level 1 will receive 255 points for each grey wolf, after leveling once, it will decrease to 180 points. It stays at that rate until it decreases, at level 6 and beyond, to 13 points per each grey wolf defeated or about 5 percent of the initial bonus. Quest experience does not scale with character level in Adventure Mode.

g. What is the level cap?

32767, and no it's not possible to reach that level.

h. What's the best armor in the game? What's the best weapon? Is there a site that lists them all?

2. Technical

a. Which ports does Two Worlds 2 use?

UDP 17900 for game sessions, TCP 17800, 17801, 17842 for connecting to server.

b. Is there a friendslist in the game?

Not yet.

c. What are the chat commands?

"/whois [username]" -- displays that account's profile.
"@[username]" -- Private message, only works when both players are within the same lobby.

d. Will the next patch/update reset/wipe our accounts?

No, it will not.

3. Administration

a. What are the server rules?

Do not mod/cheat/hex/clone items and/or characters. Do not insult other players, use vulgar language, spam the chat, or write about cheating. The full EULA/Server Rules can be found in the lobby menu, the external server rules announced on the official forums are currently outdated.

b. I caught someone cheating in arena! They have a level 500+ and I've never seen them online before. How do I report a cheater?

Take a screenshot and/or video of the offense, contact an admin, if you could not gather evidence the first time, try to find the accused user again, admins will appreciate when you work to make the game better (they're not paid either!) If not, just inform an admin (preferably in private).

c. What if I have a problem with another player?

Contact an admin, preferably in private setting, or support@Zuxxez.com -- have appropriate records/sources to support your claims.

f. I was permanently banned for wearing modded gear without warning, how so?

Admins have the right to permanently ban users who mod the files of Two Worlds 2 (despite user-agreement) and play online. The simple solution is to not mod and play online. You can buy another serial-key and start over under a new account.

g. What if I use a bug or glitch that I'm unaware of, will I get banned for it?

No, you cannot get banned for using bugs and glitches that exist within the game (without modding) until the server rules state otherwise. Instead, report them to an admin or support@Zuxxez.com

h. I was using color mods for my robes, why is that forbidden?

All modding, whether it affects gameplay or not, is not allowed as stated in the official server rules.
