If you guys ask seriously questions to us, instead of building up your own strange ideas about who does what and why, such questions will be answered honestly.
So go ahead and ask, but please do not invent some rumors.

Just reading up on things Two Worlds II... in the press release they were talking about new lands to the east? Hmmm... I thought the original idea were islands somewhere in the western ocean? Or has all this and most of the info in the "old" Antaloor posts become outdated? I.e. sailing between islands etc.?
Since this is a new game the whole problem of supporting your old Two Worlds character (saves) or having issues due to possible story inconsistencies have been solved "elegantly". May "sound" sarcastic, but I like this solution. If I am interpreting this correctly, I like the idea of a new game, you can kick all the story based baggage, and concentrate on a new re-designed experience.

I also prefer the idea of a new game. No offense intended to those multiplayer fans, but I couldn't give two hoots about the multiplayer aspects of Two Worlds. To me, Two Worlds is a singleplayer game that is multiplayer capable.
And yet the available add-ons for Two Worlds are only available in multiplayer mode. Not to harp on the comparisons to other games, but quite a few other RPG manufacturers have released add-ons and expansions, and Two Worlds is the only one I know of that includes NO new singleplayer material at all. True, one may be able to play them solo... in multiplayer mode, but I'd really rather see something new for the singleplayer story. It seems that having an entirely new game is the only way that's going to come about. And if that's what it takes, then I'm all for it! I just hope they make a SDK available for the new one like they did for the previous one. You'll hear no whining or complaining about how user friendly it should be from me... I don't expect a free editor to have the "pretty" interface of a retail product. If I'm not paying for it, I'm happy to take whatever they'll give me. Just please release one. I'll deal with whatever learning curve is required to use it. |
